Religious Education for Families at the Cathedral is a three pronged approach called the Reference Program. It consists of Creed, which is traditional classroom learning, Parents R&R, which is a monthly program on raising faithful children, and Koinonia, which are community celebrations. The Reference Program meets on Sunday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. during the school year. Preparation for the Sacraments of First Communion, First Penance and Confirmation is provided as part of the program. Registration forms for the 2010-2011 year are due by August 1, 2010. Please keep up with events and holidays by referring to the calendar. Adult volunteers are catechists (teachers) or assistants in the weekly education and sacramental preparation classes. Volunteers may also be needed to work with children with special needs. Adult and youth volunteers are needed for family programs such as Vacation Bible School, Intergenerational Faith Formation and Youth Ministry. Sign up for email updates.
