he Cathedral Parish School of Catholic Spiritual Growth and Education is in its fifth year of enriching the lives of Cathedral parishioners and guests with the spiritual treasures of our Catholic tradition

Our School of Spiritual Growth aims to get us in touch with our longing for holiness and then to offer some approaches that will move us at least a bit closer to the objects of that longing.

The courses this year focus on how we act out our call to holiness in the real world in which we live. "The Moral Life of the Christian", "Catholic Social Teaching" and "Suffering and Death" will deal with how our tradition works with the real issues in everyday real life. The rubber meets the road for a Christian not so much in the doctrines we proclaim as in the actions we take or do not take in response to our beliefs.
